I agree, but this one doesn't appear to be overly scary yet.
A little, maybe.
But certainly not the I wanna throw up type of scary yet - at least
to me. And what makes it really scary is when you want to throw
up for days on end because it just keeps on getting worse. And
then you think the all clear has sounded AND then BAM, it gets
even worse after that.
I guess that doesn't happen too often - but I do remember it
well back in late 2000 to early 2003. But all you need is one
of those in your life to wipe you out if you're on margin.
I don't think that we go back to that anytime soon - but it probably
will happen again in some of our lifetimes.
The last thing that I'll say is that I think that 2000-2003 was worse
than 2007-2009. That's because I've seen it before in 2007, so
it wasn't as much of a shock. Secondly, the worst hit in 2007 were
the financials. Tech was hit hard too, but the financials were worse.
