I listen to the CC. IMO First off, the stock took a bit of a hit by the earnings release that missed earnings expectations. I've mentioned before this type of technology is to new and to unpredictable to call earnings with any certainty. It's about revenue growth. I felt good about the CC as a whole. A few highlights I though important. The company took a write down on their products that become unrealistic to sell at their once listed price. They had production issues past Qtr. with their China contract MFG. A Root cause analysis done. Those issues have been resolved and production is back to normalcy. With production issues being solved. The company had good revenue growth for the Qtr. They have the ability to ramp up when orders ramp up. They could have sold more product if production wasn't stymied this past Qtr.. Toshiba was a fixed contract. So it looks to me that their cost went over the expected fixed costs. However IMO it will be well worth it, if as expected, but not signed yet. A order expected to be worth 5 million in sales is generated in 2018. Vuzix is working with a Tier one customer who wants to be kept confidential on their wave-guide technology glasses. The company received a good mentioning by the Harvard Business review. Paul Boris mentioned this is a good stepping stone for more potential orders. This especially since he has established business connections. IMO still questions about future funding. Especially with new exciting products still in the pipeline. Just maybe this is the stage the company gets Intel to come back fully?
