Chip maker Nvidia ( NVDA) this afternoon reported fiscal Q3 revenue and profit that crushed analysts' expectations, and topped consensus easily with its Q4 outlook, sending its stock initially higher in late trading, gave up gains for a bit, then rose again.]
The company's data center business saw revenue more than double, year over year, and ump 20% from the prior quarter, to $501 million.
