|COMMENTARY on Apple Modem news: i-devices redesigned due to embargo threat by EUTC and product availability concerns.|
Well-known, salaried writers might read these words; however without a formal PR from the EUTC they cannot take this allegation as fact.
I remind you that the EUTC complaint known as AT.40484 includes a request for embargo, at the discretion of the Commissioners, to enforce their judgment.
The effect of a mere threat once known to a major product company such as Apple would at the least cause a momentary review of alternative LTE IC. So, a redesign as noted in the press news suggests the current threat is more effective and may be an actual embargo (threat) already under effect and not yet announced, affecting shipments of offending LTE IC and thus all products containing it in the EU trading block of nations.
The benefit to SEQUANS should be to enhance its financial recovery, another request within AT.40484. But the revenue sums affected are rather small compared to the Defendant's revenue and an actual embargo seems unlikely versus a settlement. However, these are litigious and contentious times and principled positions have become harder as consolidation and competition harden the market.
I cannot reveal a name nor prove the status of AT.40484. I could prove its existence but only if I reveal my Real Name which I will not.
However, I also remind you I posted the contents of the email to this site here Message 30992188
"EUTC Complaint Update - Formal Filing and Acceptance Letter"
And I posted a public notice here Message 30803433
"Attention Institutional and Large Investors of Sequans. File your Amicus Brief in support of EUTC Case (Registration: 2016/101708)
"Sequans Communication, SA of France are being harmed by (3rd party unnamed here) by unfair and monopolistic behavior."
I also posted an assessment of the company's outlook here Message 31168469

And this Message 31125501
"Commentary on the Status of AT.40484 during its Quiet Stage titled Opening of Proceedings during which investigation occurs to establish evidence in support of a possible lawsuit"
If The case AT.40484 were not real I would have sold my entire position last Spring at $4.60-ish
I also requested Attorneys file an Injunction for the Class Action case(s) based on Priority however I am not hopeful.
