If you have money, they'll show you how to spend it. I have a 7400rpm hard drive and SATA cable. I know it's fast but unlikely needed. I read the cable helps but the high rpm hard drive only loads Windows a lot more quickly. From hitting the on button my machine is waiting on me in about 5 seconds. I like that, but how often do you turn on the computer?

Bill talked me into a high end 2GB video card. The KP programmer says 1/2GB is all you need with a bunch of charts. I did splurge on audio because I love my music. I had to order a high end board to take it all. LOL Most of it is probably a waste.

I had an AMD A6 before. It was all I needed but they have new and shiny waiting for you. I passed on the A10 and took an A8. I can trade 5 charts using 3 data feeds, listen to Spotify and surf and not miss a beat using about a third of my resources. A lot of the high end stuff today is for gamers trying to get one finger ahead. We are little fish in our game. Our data is slow compared to the big boys. That is one reason I like the KP institutional maps - at least you know where they are waiting. (In the NQ they will run it up or down 2 points throwing 50's on it nonstop. In the ES they run it a point or so up or down throwing 1000 on it at a time). It is funny when they go at each other on different sides. That is when you see the DOM spin like a slot machine.

I overspent but I feel good about most of it.

I will likely stop around 11 in the morning. I have company coming in. I usually quit early on Friday anyway.

Be safe.
