If the question is an emotional one . . . . like the fear of a larger loss . . is the idea and size of the larger trades being made out of profits . . . or is it based on the strong results seen in so many of their current choices and the feeling bigger trades will mean bigger gains . .
if the latter you might consider increasing the size of the trades based on portfolio profits . . . if the portfolio is up 100% or more then increasing the size a significant amount is worth considering . . . If the reason for doing so is based on observing so many 100% to 500% and bigger winners then IMO you're better off sticking to the same size trades or ones marginally larger . . . . increase the size of trades based on profits not the emotional one . .
