|Linux has some real advantages over Windows. All the software and the OS itself are updated by the update manager in one go, when you tell it to or automatically. The library of available software is huge, and apps tend to get improved with useful features, not completely upheaved by a greedy company driven by incompetent market researchers and hacks. On Linux there is Gnucash, a Quicken workalike. There are similar apps to Office (LibreOffice), Outlook (Thunderbird), Photoshop (Gimp), and actual Google Chrome, Firefox, Dropbox, and Virtualbox. The Wine subsystem is available to run many Windows programs.|
