Since SVI was suggested the 23rd of March it has gained 40+% over the last 55 trading days.
AVL did not do so well I was stopped out on that one. FCU trade climbed .61 to 87 cents where I bailed when it failed to rise above the previous high.
IVN had a great run. It hit the overhead downtrend line Friday. I'm thinking if it fails to climb over it. $3.40 may be the next level.
Lately trading micro, or low priced stocks. I have been employing a rule suggested by Mercenary Geologist, Mickey Fulp. I believe I read Rick Rule making a similar statement.
He says when trading or getting into juniors. First stick to those with less than 50 M shares. That way there is far less chance you will get caught in a roll back.
Secondly they should be in a working area of previous mineral discovery,
And third, Look for ones who already have working cash or are actively in the process of of raising it. . That way you know they have the intention of doing some thing. If they have just done a PP for a million or more the lender has done some research on the management and their properties. And feel there is a high chance they will get a return on their investment.
If management has a record of previous successes that is an added bonus
That seems to make good sense to me. However I do not rode a pull back down very far. Usually the 21 SMA. It only takes 1 cent on 5K to cover both exit and re-entry fees.
The Us Markets have rallied since the election of Trump. The Dow is at an all time high. And that has sucked much of the momentum out of Canada as US investors return home. Oil is uncertain, Lumber tariff agreements are not in place, NAFTA to be renegotiated which may affect Canada's agriculture & dairy. And gold which normally rallies with uncertainty, because the market is over bought, previous to a correction. Has not done so.
Technology stocks on average have out paced over the last three months. If that holds true to previous times. Materials should be in favor soon. There is evidence to that effect as acquisitions or buyouts have been taking place in the mining sector in anticipation.
That' my thoughts present. However BC mining and resource industries may face a NDP/Green administration. Historically that has not been a positive.
To bad the thread went so dead. it is a place where things can be openly and freely discussed with out all the nonsense that comes with many of the forums on Stockhouse.
