Hmm, hadnt thought about composition. OTOH, I do think that a fairly large percentage of tablet owners are also going to have a smartphone with a decent camera.

I couldnt find a survey that covered cameras from somebody like Gartner, but I did dig up a survey from Morgan Stanley. Page 21 has a list of the most important features for tablet purchasers. A camera is only ahead of NFC on this survey.

My question would be how much cost a rear camera would add. If it really was $50, I would much rather have Apple go for the lower price point without the camera (that's as an investor and not a from a personal standpoint).
