l buy it if it has a decent back facing camera... I won't if it doesn't. Say it retails for $249 without a camera... certainly a good camera would be worth an incremental $50... and a $299 price point. It's a portable iPad.... meant to be taken with you. It should have a camera.

Dont you have an iPhone?

I want a more portable iPad, but cant imagine a situation where I would want (much less need) to take a picture with my iPad rather than my iPhone.
