In my previous life I found that most VIP events depended much less on the "principal", or the big shot visitor, and heavily on the professionalism of their staff, both those who "advance" and prepare an event and those traveling with the principal who often have to make rapid-fire last-minute decisions on the ground as an event happens.

I have seen too many incidences of stupid unprofessionalism by Mitt's staffers to think they are the first-string that the Republicans can put up. Not a good combination when you have a mediocre, disjointed candidate to begin with.
