Also the problem with false positives is the person has to almost be an IT professional to find out that they are indeed false, otherwise they would just let the program deal with them, and could damage their systems.

If my system was that badly infected I would do a clean install....for peace of mind.

I will end my comments on this topic by again suggesting that those interested in PC protection should read AV Comparatives test results for the last couple of years and form their own opinions rather than listening to faceless folks touting their favorites.
I agree 100%.
