If AT&T and Verizon are really steering people away from iPhone, and there are many, many anecdotal reports this is true, might not be a bad idea.
In the article Annie posted earlier, AT&T's spokesperson vehemently denied that their salespeople were steering customers away from the iPhone. As he reasonably pointed out, if they were steering people away from the iPhone, why would it continue to be the best selling phone they carry?
