Plenty of other places for politics on SI. If this private-public partnership titled "The Affordable Care Act" was promoted by a President with an (R) after his name, we all damned well know the "fear" and Chicken Little movement would be cheerleaders calling it patriotic and positive; and liberals, probably including myself, would be protesting that it was a sellout to Insurance Companies, and not "Medicare for All." This forum has been generally excellent with its information... I wish we could filter out the blatant partisan political messages and focus on Heart Attacks, Cancer and strokes. Preventative approaches. Plenty of other places for vitriol and politics on SI. Can we be friends, more like Tip O'Neill and Ronald Reagan, and less like Sean Hannity?? Can we stay on-topic?? I think most mature people would agree with me. I could be wrong.
