Somebody else already pointed out that lack of logic and mathematical failure.
The Alarmists don't seem to understand that each time they use such defective reasoning, they are not only wrong, but they demonstrate that they are either stupid, ignorant or dishonest, none of which are traits which persuade other people that everyone should hand over the reins of power and their hard-earned money to such stupid, ignorant or dishonest people.
Perhaps real scientists would not support their irrational arguments, but we tend not to read about Global Doomster actual scientists quickly denying such faulty arguments.
If, having made such faulty arguments, and were corrected, they would say, "Oh yes, silly me. I did make a mistake." then it would be just part of the process of arriving at the truth, without detriment to their other arguments. But when they are caught lying, being dishonest, using faulty maths, hiding the decline, hiding the data, destroying the data, talking their book, avoiding falsifiability, eliminating unwanted data, then the overall package demonstrates they should not be given any more opm to waste.
