The unremitting political correctness and desensitizing in our language is sickening. True to the current usage, the Colorado shooting has been cataloged as (what else??) a tragedy.

The incident was an atrocity. "Atrocity" focuses on the perp, but the word "tragedy" focuses on the victims. If people suffer or die from someone's deliberate actions or from a natural calamity, that word makes no distinction. The mind controllers use it to provoke grief as the primary response in the public instead of outrage like "atrocity" would. "Tragedy" is also useful because it envelopes Holmes as one of the victims in his own massacre.

The liberal media and academia have successfully erased the notion that anybody is a sinner. Nobody is evil or wicked. They're really "psychopaths" or "sociopaths" - medical terms meant to obscure moral guilt and invoke compassion.

The president and the Republican candidate have repeatedly called it a tragedy. I compliment them both on their shrewdness in knowing their electorate.
