Hi Pete:

While I agree with much of what you say, the value of on your person portability can't be neglected. It would appear that people will happily pay through the nose for lower compute horsepower, non-upgradeable, breakable, easy to lose, etc, IF its something they can keep conveniently with them. The PC flavors lack that essential ingredient, and Ultrabooks will not correct that problem. So I expect to see the continued rise of computing/communication gadgets that can fit in a pocket.
