I apologize if I offended you. My comments were directed to the article, not the poster. Anyways, some people running Windows XP will have problems running 8 on their hardware, driver issues, peripherals like older printers, scanners, monitors, etc, and I expect some software issues with old XP programs.

My monitors on my Windows XP machine are not compatible with Windows 7. Samsung won't release a driver, you are stuck at one resolution and you can't make it higher.

I also can't run any of my XP software on my Windows 7 machines, because it's the Home Premium 64 bit version.
