I agree with everything you say about Thome. He's just plain a class act . I'm glad the Phillies got him back this year and I love to watch him bat. Great clubhouse influence too for the younger guys.

What are you saying about Galvis not expected back in 50 days....that he will still be recovering from injury?

Mayberrry a hot/cold hitter? Agreed, but he's not alone. Some others come to mind in that category like Utley, and Rollins.

Six games under .500 seems like a disaster doesn't it? How soon we forget all those years in the 60's, 70's and 80's when that would have been a very respectable winning percentage for the team!
