THE SCIENCE does support the idea that Earth has never been in balance. Most people are aware that fossil fuels were stripped from the ecosphere. Some, such as Thomas Gold, and obviously you, disagree. Where do you think all that carbon under the ground was before it was buried for millions of years? It was in the ecosphere, but because earth was not in balance it was stripped from the ecosphere and buried, out of balance, until people arrived, dug it up and burned it.
