Interesting, no? Isn’t this the debate—how to solve the problem in a manner compatible with one's values—that responsible leaders should be having? Why a Carbon tax? Why not a Methane (Fart) tax? And since Water Vapor is a far more serious GG than Carbon Dioxide, why not a WV tax? Maybe we should research how to make the planet LESS SENSITIVE to C02.. Maybe seed the atmosphere with sulfur, a completely reversible process.. Maybe sop up some of that excess CO2 by replenishing the ocean's phytoplankton population. . again.. a completely reversible process... A tax does NOTHING but provide government officials with more money to squander, and MORE control over it's national population. Hawk
