Nokia Hints Something for June 18th. Update: Nokia 808 PureView in the US June 15th, 2012 • Mark Guim • Filed Under thenokiablog.com It was all over the blogs yesterday that Microsoft is announcing something on June 18th, but now it seems Nokia is showing something too. Coincidence? The Nokia US Facebook page just uploaded a photo with 06.18.12 in bold letters with a map of Hawaii in the background. What does it mean? Will Microsoft and Nokia announce a Lumia tablet? Will they announce the next update for Windows Phone? Are these 2 separate events which happen to be on the same date? Let us know your guesses and we’ll wait a few days to find out if you’re right. Update 1: Another photo posted. Related to music? Update 2: It looks like these are hints for the US launch of the Nokia 808 PureView. Hawaii as shown in the first photo has the 808 area code. The second photo shows the Roland TR-808 controller.
