Sorry it took a few hours. Bringing a new server online and restoring a database is time-intensive. Seemed like a week to me...

I regret my decision not to have a "hot" stand-by that fails over automatically. It's not that difficult to implement but costs another $1000/month. Hardware failures are supposed to be rare (like once every 5-10 years), so it seemed like an unnecessary precaution. Now the question is can lightning strike twice on the same virtual server?
