Had some serious problems in the bios confuguration part. Could not get the keyboard to work, in the most basic guts of bios.

Ouch, how do you troubleshoot a computer if the keyboard doesn't work? What was the operator error you ran into?

I'm keeping my primary drive a Snow Leopard one. Best of both worlds! :)

I had considered keeping Snow Leopard in a virtual machine after upgrading to Lion (which I haven't done yet), but apparently the process isn't easy. Parallels won't do it without a lot of hoops to jump through and I haven't tried VirtualBox for it.

I decided it was best just to leave all my PPC apps behind when the time comes and move ahead without Snow Leopard.
