Oh, that has to be a send-up!
Anyway, why is volunteering 24 minutes to help a "needy stranger" "ethical", but volunteering 13 minutes to help a needy stranger "unethical"? Ayn Rand would disagree.
And why is organic food being used as a proxy for veganism or vegetarianism? I eat organically produced meat and eggs, as do a lot of people. My favorite egg producer has a photo of the chickens running around in the grass. I do pay extra for these eggs, but I think it's more ethical to help needy chickens!
Although I also eat organically produced chickens. Very tasty chickens, I might add.
And I spend no time at all volunteering to help needy strangers. I work all day with needy people, when I get off work I feel as if I have done my bit for the needy, and it's time for me, my family, my home, my environment, the natural world, culture, philosophy, and some fun. Maybe it's all the organic food I ate.
