Seems to me that something is new. Perhaps it is the various websites and other promotional efforts whipping up interest on the basis that a promotion of the stock will soon be under way. This I think has created a greater burst of buying coincident with the promotion.

What's next? A promotion that a pre-promotion is coming?

The trading effect seems to be that the rise is quicker, the fall is quicker, and higher volatility in general. Correct me if you see it differently, please.
