|I have many hobby horses Lindy, and a pleasantly surprising success rate in having them actually turn into reality. Tradable Citizenship is a pretty good one and I think a sure bet to be adopted because the evolutionary pressures in political systems keep pushing in that direction. Once citizens realize they actually own [or should do] a $1 million or $2 million [or more] asset, they'll start to sit up and take notice. Communism doesn't work, but for some reason, [Stockholm Syndrome? Ignorance? Fear of the new?] people cling to it for their citizenship. Private property does work. |
Your hobby horse is interesting to me because if it's what I guess it is, it's my current biggie: <my concept of the "ultimate money" has merit, but I will never see it installed either. > Just what do you mean by "ultimate money"?
An associated idea is "echronomics" which was coined by Sam Giffney [the creator of zenbu.co.nz ] Ecrhonomy 101 here: zenbu.wordpress.com
There are some very big things still to come down the pike. Facebook is not one of them. Perhaps it could evolve to something big. I find it of little value.
