That is a superb interview and Sowell hits every nail on the head. I read Sowell more than any author in the eighties and nineties and it's good to see him still in great form here and in other places.

That the "intellectual" left has no use for empirical evidence is proof of their lack of intellectual integrity. They are, in essence, pretentious poseurs. That interview is an indictment of everything that is "Kenneth" - one who has no interest in empirical reality, only what stokes the selfish ego at others' expense.
