No it's not simplistic, what's simplistic is saying that it's coincidental.

I'm not saying the price a company gets for the products it sells is the only reason for its stock price moves,
but it's a major one that has to be considered.

Had the price of nat gas climbed over the past 6 months rather than collapsed, all else being equal, the MHR stock price would have done better over that time. That's obvious.

It's obvious that the wind is either at your back or in your face.
