My kids bought me a Kindle Fire for Xmas. I haven't put it down since! I can't imagine not having one now, and yes, I was just like your wife and didn't want to look at an electronic book. Once I did I was hooked. I do the electronic library now. I have read more books in the past four months than I probably have read in a few years. It is a great gadget to throw on the coffee table. When you are watching tv and someone asks a question about something or someone and you are too lazy to turn on your computer - just grab the Fire!
