Killed or murdered?

I am pretty hard core about war fighting but -
There is a case to be made that we were uninvited and surreptitiously invaded an allied country and the man was murdered in his own home with his wives and children present.

This was not handled the same as the CPT David Staffel and MSG Troy Anderson incident. They were both charged with murder.

And we sure as hell would be screaming if a Pakistani force did similar here.

Who gets to decide that a man is so special that capture is not an option?
