Interesting that you interpret the recent action --the same way- I must admit that after building a large position for me [representing 10% of my entire portfolio] 22 months ago,I took out 200% of my initial principle on the way up to $7- I still hold all of my free shares and rode them all of the way back down- However,since I have more investment experience in the Oil sector than any other,I realized the probability of hitting a commercial find on the first try was less than 30% and hedged my position accordingly. Now HDY is back to where I built my original oversize position,and I'm considering multiplying my stake again,but I have the luxury of not being in a hurry as I'm not expecting any drilling for at least another 14-18 months. No doubt there would be a large mid term spike should they announce a new partner,but thats the nature of speculation,and in that case,I already have a starter position anyway. futr
