You now appear to be arguing that not only was DELL _not_ the only OEM getting rebates, they may not have even been getting the _biggest_ rebates.

And your problem with that is????

Intel gave rebates to many customers. They're perfectly legal and no Court of Law has ever said otherwise. When Intel was asked to structure them in a more clear way, Intel continued to prosper. When AMD was freed from their claimed suppression, AMD continued to sink deeper and deeper into the toilet. In short, the rebates had no effect on AMD's self inflicted wounds, before or after. What is your problem?

As for the rest, you never can seem to distinguish the difference between charges leveled by a prosecutor in full spin mode, and facts determined by a trial, where Intel can confront it's accusers, call witnesses and subpoena evidence. The FTC was happy to settle with Intel without so much as a fine. They had no case and they knew it. NY's case was so incompetently handled they had to settle it with no fine either. Those were each called a swing and a miss in baseball terms but you can comfort yourself by claiming that they were more like foul tips.

Your faith is rooted in the belief that Intel is evil and nothing will ever change your mind.

Go back to your Parts is Parts arguments. You were much more fun then.
