It could be a very good year for GF if they can snag some high profile wins at 28nm

If they truly have mastered 32nm HKMG, the 28nm process should ramp smoothly. Plus, fully built out Dresden at 18,500W per week is a whole lot of capacity...... roughly about 55 million 200mm^2 chips a quarter at 75% yield. That's about 3x what AMD sells a quarter. An opportunity of a lifetime as TSMC is struggling.
