In decades and centuries to come, Dr Irwin Mark Jacobs will be recorded as the most important inventor who ever lived, and that will include competition such as Albert Einstein. Thomas Edison, James Watt, Archimedes, Nobel Prize winners and others will be mere footnotes related to the industrial revolution. Of course many people went before CDMA such as Fourier, Newton and legions of others who invented and developed the stepping stones which enabled CDMA and mobile Cyberspace. But the intellectual leap to bring it all together, "breach the laws of physics" and squeeze it into little DeVices was the concept of Dr J and the development of his talented team. knowledge.wpcarey.asu.edu

The invention is really a brain outside our brains, which travels with us. That's not how CDMA is normally looked at and it's true that regular fixed Cyberspace is the same thing more or less, but mobility is the crucial element. More that that, it's a brain in IT's own right and no, that is not an apostrophical error.
