As per discussion a month or so ago, its now been proved that something was different this qtr. Short interest is 22 million as of the end of March. This is the largest since Sept., yet the stock did not lose 7 to 10% during the qtr. even when the market recently barffed up 5+% Qcom bounced well, and agree with Handle that it is a strong chart.
That being said I've noticed companies that have reported growth are getting hammered if the growth wasn't big enough. The HFTs are set to roll with the slightest appearance of weakness.
