One more anecdote to add. When I finished my photo gig today, I beelined for a fabulous new bar, owned by a great buddy of mine, who once upon a time, very long ago, hung my first show in his gallery.

Anyhow, he now owns a fabulous new place in St. Paul (among others) called Amsterdam. I get "special treatment" there, so of course I go, as soon as I am done working, like today.
So I'm sitting there having a Surly Furious, yacking with the folks around me, on their iPhones and Androids.
Asked them, "Hey, anyone gonna buy the new Windows phone?"
They looked at me like I was a complete idiot. Dead silence, for a while. Then they went back to what they were doing and ignored me.
