OT. I saw Bruuuuuuce at The Palace last night. Maybe it's just because I'm getting old and I don't remember, but it was as good a Bruce show as I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them. backstreets.com Given that Wrecking Ball isn't a classic hard rocking, dance your ass off, rock and roll album, my expectations for the show were't that high. But it turned out to be a tight, simply incredible show. I remember sitting there thinking there isn't a place on the planet I'd rather be. When he sang City of Ruins I thought, wow, he took a song from The Rising (one of my favorite albums) and made it fit right with the theme of the evening. In one of the most bizarre things to ever happen to me, the woman who sat next to me had flown in from PHX for the show. She's the daughter of a friend of mine. I had never met her before. I can't wait to see him in Cleveland next week.
