What We're NOT Talking About (But Should Be)

Where's the outrage here folks?

Tyson, who has the word 'Savage' tattooed across his chest didn't show a flicker of emotion, slumping in his seat as he was forced to watch a montage of photos showing the victims from early childhood to young men.

Two close friends of the dead men who had attended the eight day trial in Sarasota, Florida. had also delivered highly emotional impact statements to the court prior to the sentencing.

What's this about?

Two British tourists who had a few drinks and got lost in "the hood." They ran into a black teen that decided to try to rob them -- and when he was told they didn't have any money, he murdered them in cold blood.

There's no controversy in this case over whether or not self-defense played a role; the murderer was attempting to commit robbery at the time.

Barack Obama said that his son would "look like Trayvon Martin" (if he had a son) -- how about Shawn Tyson? Does that look like your putative son Barack?

And why is it that these two gentlemen who were gunned down in cold blood as part of an attempt to rob them, weren't even worth a mention -- or a phone call of condolance to their families?

We have a problem here in this country. We have black youth who think that handles like "NO_LIMIT_NIGGA" are cute names to apply to themselves on Twitter. We have youth that talk (and write) in language that is unintelligible, who wear "grills" made out of gold as some sort of indication of their gangsta "coolness" and walk around with their pants halfway down to their knees in "tribute" to the fact that if you go to jail the jailer will take your belt so you can't either use it as a weapon or hang yourself with it.

This is considered "cool" and "acceptable" in our so-called "public school" systems and on the streets, never mind that the only job you'll be getting with that sort of self-applied label is one selling crack on the street corner as nobody is going to hire these "kids."

If parents don't give a **** about this can someone tell me why the taxpayer should be paying to "educate" someone who clearly doesn't give a good damn what they look or act like in public?

This **** isn't new either folks. I saw it literally every day a decade back and more when I lived in Chicago. This isn't a recent phenomena and it sure hasn't gotten anyone anywhere positive in life.

Then we have the "wilding" documented by North Miami Beach senior high students who decided that mob action against a retailer was appropriate as a means of "protest" in the Martin/Zimmerman case. They stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise and ransacked the place -- all caught on video.

This is the group that will be "next" in our economic future? These are the people who we will pay for medical care via Medicaid and Obamacare (assuming it is not struck in June, and I believe it will be) and who will form the tax base as we age? This is what America is becoming? This is how we're going to compete with the Chinese, the Vietnamese, hell, even the Mexicans?

Yeah, right. If we keep this crap up there won't be an America in another 20 years.

How many blacks were killed in Chicago last week? Of those, how many who did the killing were also black?

There is a man currently in the dock for defending himself in Englewood -- he's black. The assailant he was defending himself from is also black. This doesn't make the news, except when the defender, an 80 year old man, finds himself locked up for exercising his right not to die at the hands of a young thug.

America has a problem and it's found here -- in statistics that nobody will talk about in public for fear of being branded a "racist" but nonetheless true. Black people commit half the murders but are 13.6% of the population. They also commit more of the robberies than any other group.

This gross misrepresentation doesn't extend everywhere. For example black representation in DUIs is about equal to their percentage of the population.

So what makes this violent expression something that continues?

I'll tell you why -- we, the rest of the population that aren't into violent acts like this and find them unacceptable do not speak loudly against it and demand it stop long before it reaches the level of robbery or murder. You talk to any detective, any cop who's worth a damn and he'll tell you that those who commit robbery are people you need to arrest and get off the street because eventually they almost always wind up killing someone.

We tolerate "grills" in school, tagging, possession of stolen property and similar acts that are not pranks. I'm not talking about someone getting caught smoking weed either -- I'm talking about clear indications of intent if not actual gang activity and acts of serious civil disorder -- theft and violence. Troll Youtube sometime if you want literally dozens of examples of "in the hood" behavior put forward as "cool", or listen to the "gangsta rap" trash that's all over the airwaves.

The current race-pimping is outrageous folks. What's even worse is people like Rosanne Barr who ought to be sued to beyond the orbit of Mars for tweeting Zimmerman's parents address. Yeah, she deleted it, but not before effectively advocating vigilante violence against people who had nothing to do with the situation in the first place. Just in case nobody's said it yet, "**** you Rosanne."

If you think there aren't as many seriously racist black people as there are whites (if not more) you live in a sheltered enclave and have never been to a majority-black area in a big city or elsewhere.

The Zimmerman issue is, as a legal matter, very simple. Either Zimmerman was mounted and having his face pounded in by Martin or he was not. If he was, then the shooting is clean. If Zimmerman shot Martin without being legitimately in fear of great bodily harm or death then he has committed a crime. This has nothing to do with the "Stand your ground" law either; you can't retreat if you're pinned on the ground while getting your face turned into hamburger by the guy on top of you.

Thus far the evidence visible to the public does not support that Zimmerman committed a crime. The DA declined to prosecute on the basis of the evidence available. As I have repeatedly said if the evidence changes so will my opinion but "evidence" is not clearly-doctored crap such as the ABC news "footage" that conveniently and intentionally covers Zimmerman's head with their titler even though there is no text displayed as a subtitle.

Let's be very forthright here about what those who are convinced there's this big cover-up are alleging here -- those who are alleging a conspiracyare in fact alleging that the EMT folks who were on the scene as well the police department fabricated what happened and supported it with intentionally-false reports up and down the line.

In other words those making that allegation are in fact alleging a very serious felony conspiracy in that if they're right these people are allaccessories after the fact to murder and both could and should stand trial for same.

REALLY?

You are alleging that the EMTs are going to risk imprisonment for a felony charge of being an accessory to murder? Not just the cops, but the EMTs too? For what possible benefit would they engage in that?

Folks, President Clinton couldn't keep one cum-stained blue dress quiet in a place where he had very effective control of everyone in the White House. And that was simply a matter of impeachment, not a potential life-term felony.

I don't buy it but you're free to, I suppose. If we get some EMTs coming forward (in exchange for immunity I would expect!) then you'll have an argument.

In short, let's see your evidence.

But until that is presented the clear attempt to race-bait and set up what could easily turn into a race war or worse, all-on civil insurrection belies the real issue that we have tried to sweep under the rug for the last two decades by showering "free money" on top of those who choose to do things like wear a grill or talk in what amounts to sanskrit and claim that anyone that doesn't "respect" them is "dissin' the hood" or somesuch.

That is, we have both tolerated as a society and fed with "free money" this sort of behavior and lifestyle.

Well guess what folks -- the "free cheese" is about gone. We can't keep running $1 trillion+ deficits and handing out money to people who would rather get high and have their grill than go to work and make a life for themselves in a peaceful and productive fashion.

There is no such thing as a unicorn and those are not skittles coming from the back end.

We as a people had better face this crap head on and stop it right here and now. It's not going to be easy to do but we literally don't have a choice because the "free stuff" is running out fast.

I don't have the answers as to how to change people's minds and hearts in this regard. As I noted this isn't a new problem, but it's getting worse. Politicians such as Pelosi and Obama who think there's some sort of "gain" in stoking racial tensions are literally out of their minds. The last thingthis country needs is race riots or worse, but the simple fact of the matter is that bribery isn't something we can pay for any longer so that's not one of the choices.

We better get our heads out of our asses folks, because for those of us who are law-abiding, decent people this is not a game.
