"The Tebow deal on NY talk radio is already being called one of the worst in football history"

Have any of those NY talk jocks ever heard of Herschel Walker?

Looks like a fairly low risk situation to me, they didn't have to take a second mortgage on the franchise in order to make the deal in either cash or future draft choices.....They know in advance that Tebow will never pull a "Scottie Pippen" and pout on the end of the bench when asked to make a play at any point in the game.....Interest in the Jets will rise from people in sections of the country that could have cared less if NY had a team or not before the trade.....Locker room big mouths will see nothing but solid work ethic and a positive attitude from the young man.....As far as how the paparazzi will affect Tebow's beliefs or how he acts, the saying that comes to mind is "dogs bark, but the caravan moves on".......and you never know, the Jets coaching staff may have more nerve and not hand the ball off on 23 out of 25 first downs.

The most interesting question about any of this to me is what is the back up plan in Denver if something happens to Manning.....If they don't have something in place they may turn out like the Colts, and maybe shoot a 2 & 14 season.....heavy reliance on any one individual rarely works out on any level of life's endeavors.

HBO specials or no, the Jets will get national & international attention this year at a higher level than normal....it's not going to take a marketing genius to increase the cash flows around the team this year.
