While some dream of a white knight swooping in at the Tampa convention to give Reps new hope, the more likely scenario is a knock-down drag-out fight between Mitt and Santorum for the swing delegates with the cable news guys loving every second of the soap opera, and the party looking dazed and battered by the end.

You can guess that the Democrats will have a smoother ride in Charlotte.
