I had a preferred that I purchased back in the bad days of 09' DREpL. Since it was well past it's call date I decided to harvest a rather large cap gain with a GTC order thru Stifel. I told the broker sell it all, meaning all or none as he's heard from me before. Anyway he didn't enter all/none and an odd lot of 77 shrs. sold yesterday @ my 25.25 ask price. I never saw the stock print that high on my Scott streaming quotes or any other quote service from yesterday. That trade cost me 2.1% for the trade. Called the broker back and made sure the remaining shares were at all/none. He did say he would give me a bigger discount on that trade. I guess this post leads to the question how did those shares trade higher than the high for the day? Oh and the balance went off today @ 25.25.
