As a member of a class action suit we would get a snickers bar as a settlement and the Lawyers would make money from the insurance that Google has to cover Class Action stuff.

I'd rather Apple just patch the holes.

Also now that Apple is as big as it is we can already see examples of trolls trying to extort funds from their large coffers for all kinds of stuff.
