You held them? They are trading Sardines, not investments.

A story from WW2 aftermath in Germany, told by Andre Kostolany: During the WW2 aftermath, when black market trading was rampant, a dealer offered another black market guy a truck load of tuna cans. The black market guy opened a few cans to check the goods, noticed that the tuna has gone bad and confronted the dealer.

The dealer said: "Who cares if they are bad or not, they are for trading, not for eating!"

Interesting parable, might even be true <g>.
