Description:
In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and fabricate LED and Laser chips for customers. You will be involved in process development on new equipment platforms and improvement of existing processes. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, hands-on, resourceful problem-solvers with the capacity to quickly grasp and resolve a wide range of technical issues through the implementation of practical solutions to complicated problems.
You will develop, integrate, and refine thin film, thinning, and singulation processes for both LEDs and Lasers, with metrics ranging from yield to throughput to electrical or optical performance. You will also work with dry and wet etching, metal and dielectric deposition, mask layout and design, and electrical and optical device characterization. Finally, you will transfer new processes and equipment into HIGH VOLUME MANUFACTURING, complete with documentation and control plans. |
