The flip side of an balanced budget amendment would be no more wars financed by debt -
can't have both : big military spending and a balanced budget.
There was no "real" winner in the cold war - the US of A is just slow in figuring it out continuing on the same path.
Some of the teabaggers are already gang ho to march into Iran ...
