That looks like a great way of easily boosting the quality of a PC's sound. I noticed there is another USB product by the same company which allows one to connect to multiple speakers to get 5.1 surround sound, but it's way more complicated and not as portable. This product seems to have a setting to simulate surround sound, but not an actual connection to more than 2 speakers.

Question for you - I have a computer with a subwoofer, the sound is decent but not great. HP DV7t. I was wondering if this USB sound card would use the subwoofer and would the overall sound be better than what I currently have.

Thanks again.
