Revolt, first of all, welcome to the board, we always like to see new blood here so we can get new ideas and avoid just rehashing the same old ones.

When you refer to "the Aussies" I presume you are refering to the exchange on which the stock is traded, as opposed to the primary area in which the company operates. I'm uncomfortable trading on an exchange that is primarily open while I'm asleep. These juniors are news-driven stocks and its tough enough to stay up with the news for stocks that trade during the US daytime nevermind those that trade at night.

So far I've been able to continue to find stocks trading on markets in this continent that, IMO, are trading in an "inefficient market", in most cases due to the fact that they are micro caps and are not trading on a US national exchange. With oil prices going idiotic over the last 5 years finding these sorts of stocks has been more difficult since more folks are following energy stocks than did previously. But the inefficient market is still out there IMO.

Before I would consider getting involved with stocks trading on an exchange on the other side of the world I would consider putting more money into direct investments of oil & gas projects. I have been doing this on a relatively small scale for the past 8 years or so and although it took awile to learn the ropes I finally am at the point where I feel comfortable ramping this up so I'm planning to move a lot of money out of energy stocks and into this area next year.
