That doesn't sound like a solution, more like capitulation. I could do without trading commodities. But if, as she says, equity accounts may not be safe either, including cash, and including retirement accounts - that could be a big problem. I know about insurance, but if insurance will pay me back 1% of my money per month, that would be poor consolation. ...And... we can't, all of us, convert everything into physical, and stand in front of it with assault rifles, protecting it 24/7.
