One of the things that right wing folk never seem to appreciate about reducing the debt/deficit is the magic of economic growth. Create growth, taxes receipts go up, more money available for any number of things including reducing the debt/deficit.

And how do you create growth? Increase demand. Which requires that folk have money to spend. It's fairly simple. Work on providing jobs and you are working on addressing the debt/deficit.
